Gold Country Bail Bonds has an 8% rate filed with the State Department of Insurance for Defendants who have retained private defense counsel, Defendants ond/or Indemnitors who are actively enrolled in a labor union, Defendants and/or Indemnitors who are or were members of the Military and their immediate families and now can offer the new AARP discount to members. In order to qualify for the 8% rate, proper evidence must first be received by Gold Country Bail Bonds.

Retained Private Counsel

A letter from the attorney retained or a copy of the contract between attorney and client must be received by Gold Country Bail Bonds within thirty (30) days of the bond execution date. The attorney must be retained within five (5) business days of the bond execution date.

Members of the Military and Families

Active and Veteran Members of the Military must provide Gold Country Bail Bonds with proof of Military service within three (3) days of the bond execution date. If the client is the immediate family of a member of the Military, a signed declaration from the member of the Military along with a copy of the members ID or other proof of service must be received within thirty (30) days of the filing of the bond.

Immediate family is defined as a legal parent, spouse, child, adopted or foster child, sibling or half sibling. If proper evidence is received within the allotted time period defined above, Gold Country Bail Bonds Corporate Office will notify all clients by mail that the premium rate has been reduced to 8%. The account balance and promissory note will also be adjusted to reflect the new rate.

Union Members

Must provide Gold Country Bail Bonds with proof of active enrollment within three (3) days of the bond execution date. For example: a recent pay stub or a union card with a current expiration date. No exceptions will be made.
